Dr Samina Showghi established The Harley Street General Practice in 2002 with the ambition of providing traditional general practice in a private setting.

The Harley Street General Practice offers a complete private Primary Care service, with appropriate secondary medical specialities accessible through a network of established consultants.

Our Philosophy

Our eldest paragon, Asclepius, the Greek god of medicine, devoted his life to the art of healing. Centuries later, his principles remain our legacy, and under his symbolic watch, we aim to fulfil these with excellence.

Our aim is to provide personalised, high-quality private General Practice care to individuals, families and companies. In essence, time is dedicated to the patient in a tranquil and calm atmosphere.

We pride ourselves on having a unique fee structure which reflects our traditional core values on patient care.

At The Harley Street General Practice, we are highly experienced in providing comprehensive and bespoke support to companies and understand the demands of an often highly pressurised, driven corporate culture.
